1.1 May I use pure aloe vera gel on my face? May I use it as aftersun?

Yes!! The pure Aloe Vera gel from Vivita Aloe can be used on both face and body and is an excellent cell regenerator after sun. It has moisturizing, regenerating and soothing properties, making it the ideal product to treat skin issues: irritated skin by sun exposure, shaving, laser hair removal, etc. and recommended in irritations, acne, burns, small cuts, stings…

Its characteristic smell of aloe vera disappears once the gel has been absorbed by the skin.

1.2 May I use pure aloe vera gel on eye contour?

The eye contour is a very delicate area. The skin is much thinner than the rest of the face. Therefore, we recommend exclusive products for that area. We are working on an appropriate formula to create our own eye contour with aloe vera. Shortly we hope to be able to give you news.

1.3 In what type of skin and hair can I use aloe vera?

Aloe Vera is rich in polysaccharides, amino acids, vitamins and trace elements, which give it a high moisturizing, regenerating, soothing, anti-inflammatory and regulating sebum power, which is beneficial for all skin and hair types (fatty, dry and sensitive).

1.4 Aloe vera and stretch marks

As a cellular regenerator, aloe vera gel (or creams with high content of aloe vera) helps to reduce stretch marks and prevent their appearance, thanks to its content in allantoin.

1.5 Aloe vera in children & pregnant women

There are no conclusive studies in this regard, so the consumption of aloe vera in pregnant women and children under 3 is not recommended by now.

1.6 Where I can find physically the product in Tenerife?

You can find Vivita Aloe products in pharmacies and herbalists of the island of Tenerife. You can also find us in our physical store of Aloe Park, our theme park on aloe.

1.7 Are there 100% Aloe Vera products?

We are afraid not. Aloe vera, in contact with air, oxidizes very quickly. That’s why it requires a preservative. At Vivita Aloe we use preservatives and natural thickeners to avoid, as far as possible, this oxidation. We recommend you always consult the list of ingredients (INCI), since their components must appear in order of content. Check that the products you are going to buy have Aloe Barbadensis leaf juice in the first positions. This is the variety of aloe vera that has greater properties in cosmetics.

1.8 Why is aloe vera from Canary Islands so recognized?

Our plants grow in ideal environmental conditions: the weather of the south Tenerife, the ideal altitude above sea level and the irrigated groundwater of the island. We process and stabilize Aloe Vera in cold, to preserve all its benefits. Without physical – chemical treatments that limit its effectiveness.

All our aloe vera leaves come from plants with an age between 4 and 10 years-old, period in which the plant provides the highest concentrations of active ingredients.

There are more than 300 varieties of aloe vera. We use Aloe Vera Barbadensis, one of the most recognized in cosmetics for the highest concentration of active ingredients it contains.

1.9 Where does our aloe vera come from?

Our crops are in south Tenerife. All the Aloe vera plants of our plantations come from native plants of the Canary Islands.

All our aloe vera leaves come from plants with an age between 4 and 10 years-old, period in which the plant provides the highest concentrations of active ingredients.

2.0 Ecological certification of our aloe

Our plants come from our own crops with ecological certification granted by the CRAE, the Regulating Council of Organic Agriculture of the Canary Islands. We have one of the largest aloe vera plantations in the Canary Islands, in south Tenerife.

2.1 Who makes the products?

We do. We have our own laboratory, which allows us to control the entire production process: from the organic farming to the final product.

We cut and process the aloe vera on the same day. In less than 4 hours from the cut, the leaves enter into the productive process.

We process and stabilize Aloe Vera cold, to preserve all its benefits. Without physical – chemical treatments that limit its effectiveness.

Our products are free of parabens, silicones and dyes.

2.2 Payment methods.

We accept payments with credit card or Pay Pal, through secure payment platform. In the event that you are not completely comfortable with them, contact us and we will manage your order through bank transfer. We do not accept payments in cash or cash on delivery.

2.3 How long will it take to get my order?

We process orders daily, from Monday to Friday. In the event of public holidays, they are processed the following working day. Delivery times are approximate:

Spain: 2-3 days

EU: 3-5 days

Outside EU: 4-8 days. It depends on your country customs clearance.

Please, take into account that for countries outside the European Union, deliveries may be subject to local taxes you will have to assume.

If this happens, we apologize in advance. Anyway, as it is explained in our terms and conditions, you can return your order (complete or partly) up to 14 days after receiving.
